'Ben 10' Beyond

One of Cartoon Network's biggest television animations, Ben 10, will be growing up this coming Spring 2008. After launching in early 2006 with only a handful of aliens and a well documented story from Man of Action, the original Ben 10 animated television series has gone on to be one of the networks most highly recognized, and most profitable, properties currently available. The story of a boy whom along with his grandfather and cousin, travel the country fighting aliens and defending alien technology against the baddies, Ben 10 is an action-adventure cartoon that seemed to grip young male demos from the very start.

Next, is Ben 10: Alien Force. Taking place five years beyond the events of the original television series, Cartoon Network's Ben 10: Alien Force finds our young kid hero now a teenager, and once again taking on the responsibility of wearing the Omnitrix.

Ben's choice to wear the intergalactic wristband comes with some new and interesting changes though, as Ben soon learns that the Omnitrix has severely reconfigured his DNA and now has the capacity to transform him into 10 brand new alien species.

But this time around, fifteen-year-old Ben isn't saving the world for kicks… he's out to find his missing Grandpa Max.

On his quest to rescue his grandfather, Ben Tennyson will have to defeat a powerful new threat, the DNAliens, an alien race intent on destroying the galaxy, starting with planet Earth.

As Ben 10: Alien Force continues, Ben will join forces with other young heroes to save the galaxy, while passing along his knowledge to a whole new generation. Accompanying Ben in this newest chapter will be his cousin Gwen Tennyson, as well as his former enemy, Kevin Levin. Ben 10: Alien Force is currently in production at Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank, California.

The new animated television series is scheduled to premiere sometime Spring 2008.
