Bandai America Launches Ben 10 ''Ultimate Alien Hangout'' Sweepstakes

Boys across the nation are on the lookout for an alien invasion as Bandai America Inc. launches its "Ultimate Alien Hangout" sweepstakes. Inspired by Cartoon Network's hit television series for boys 6-11, Ben 10 (TM), boys will now have a chance to make anytime hero time by entering the Ultimate Alien Hangout sweepstakes. One lucky winner will score an awesome Ben 10 room transformation to live out alien adventures just like everyone's favorite kid hero, Ben Tennyson, while additional prizes will be given to one hundred runners-up.

Fans can enter the sweepstakes online at http://www.bandai.com/ for a chance to win one of the many out of this world prizes. The grand-prize winner's room will be Omni-tricked out into the ultimate hero's hangout. Featuring some of Ben's heroic figures like Four Arms, Stinkfly, Ghostfreak and the villainous Vilgax, the winner's room will also include Ben 10 room decor and artwork. Runners-up will receive one of many otherworldly prizes, including original illustrations or Ben 10 toy packs.

The deadline to enter the sweepstakes is April 10, and the winner will be announced on April 20.

Ben 10 fans can get a glimpse of the Ultimate Alien Hangout room transformation by tuning into Designing Spaces. The home makeover show will broadcast a fan's room transformation, while also offering viewers some easy do-it-yourself tips to create the ultimate alien hangout with their existing Ben 10 collection. Episodes will begin to air March 22 on TLC, with additional runs expected throughout the spring on Women's Entertainment and local network affiliates across the country (check your local listings for days and times).

At this year's American International Toy Fair, held in New York City, Bandai American Inc. continued to revamp and expand it's role as the leading authority on Ben 10 action figures. With more than a year under its belt in bringing animation fans and toy collectors the best Ben Tennyson and friends have to offer in play figures, vehicle sets and card games, Bandai has indicated that they have no intentions of slowing down anytime soon. Although the Cartoon Network original animated television series is licensed for various apparel, footwear, publishing and back-to-school items this year, the Spring 2008 and Fall 2008 toy lines for Ben 10 are front and center.

The Spring 2008 toy line update for Ben 10 includes some unique, limited edition figures as well-designed additions to an already robust offering. Collectible battle characters, enhanced figures that transform and much more will make the Spring line-up something to look out for. Ben 10 is one of the top ten selling action figure brands available. "Since its inception, the success of the Ben 10 toy line has been driven by strong characters, collectability and an engaging play pattern," Christina Miller, Vice President of Consumer Products, Cartoon Network Enterprises, commented in a recently issued press item.

But this year, Bandai America Inc. pulled out all the stops by introducing their Fall 008 Ben 10 toy line as well, which in full, is the first Ben 10: Alien Force toy line offering. "With its new characters and fresh story line, Ben 10: Alien Force will deliver all new opportunities for us to extend the line in to additional categories," Miller added. All-new heroes and all-new villains for an all-new chapter in the saga of young Tennyson; this highly anticipated collection of action cruisers, alien vehicles and playsets are an adventure all to themselves. Ben 10: Alien Force is the newest version of the Cartoon Network animation, premiering in Spring of this year, picking up Ben's journey five years later.
